I have heard about Xanax and I was always wondering what it was so I decided to look it up and I found out that I was actually prescribed it for anxiety but I recieved the generic version!

Xanax's generic name is alprazolam

My doctor prescribed that to me for when I was getting anxiety attacks, it worked all right, basically made me fall asleep almost while I was eating.  

I guess that Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression, so thats why he presribed it to me. I just found it put me right to sleep so I only took the stuff if I had a really bad anxiety day - found it made me kinda out of it the next day as well, so I didn't take it often.

what kind of issues or hassles might I expect from customs coming into the US if I am buying Xanax? Is there a risk of being arrested upon signing for my delivery?

Well I appreciate all of your input since Im still learning about OP's. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for getting narcotic pain meds- oxycodone, hydrocodone, etc? Anyone else's input would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance.

How long does it take for xanax to get out of your system? I think Xanax actualy takes 24hrs to completly get out of your system, but I may be wrong. There is a book on xanax and its effects try searching for it here, I believe it was called Xanax Discussion.
first off....not trying to be nosy...but why would you be concerned about how long it takes alprazolam to be eliminated from your body.....if your worried about a drug test....just keep popping.....benzodiazepines are not tested in the NIDA-5....and are only tested for on special request.....and as to answer the question...there is no answer....every person is different!
